- How Almost Anyone Can Take You Off Facebook (And Lock You Out) Facebook's "Memorial" feature meant for the family and friends of a deceased user can also be exploited to lock others out of their account. This is because it's pretty easy to have a profile memorialized: one just needs to fill out a form saying they're a friend or family member, and "prove" the person's death by providing a link to an obituary from someone that has a similar name. After that, their account will become memorialized, and the unsuspecting user will be locked out. Facebook allows you to appeal this via another form easily enough, but it's still a terrible inconvenience. [Buzzfeed]

- Spotify Suspends Music Download Service in the UK UK users are no longer able to purchase music to download on Spotify. The feature has been removed in order to "simplify the service and pave the way for new features," according to Spotify. However, if you have a Spotify gift card or download credits already tied to your account, you'll still be able to use them. No word on whether or not the service will be restored. US users are unaffected, as they never had the option to buy songs. [Pocket-Lint]
